System Analyst Job Description

About the System Analyst position

We are looking for a skilled System Analyst who will implement and improve our IT systems to translate our internal and external clients’ needs into new high quality IT systems. Your duties will include analyzing system requirements٫ addressing any relevant problems٫ performing standard testing and providing solutions to ensure high level of performance and security.

You should have decent experience with IT systems٫ software development techniques and different programming languages٫ and maintain relevant knowledge about industry trends and new solutions. We also expect you to be interested in discovering and implementing new features.

System Analyst responsibilities are:

• Explore and evaluate current systems
• Define system requirements
• Interact with users to understand their needs and track additional requirements and features
• Review legacy systems and document interfaces between them and new ones
• Work together with IT team and developers to produce new systems
• Analyze changes by testing programs
• Support and train users on the new operation systems
• Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met
• Keep well informed about current technologies and technical developments

System Analyst requirements are:

• 2+ years' experience of working on a System Analyst position
• Significant experience with software development and documentation
• Excellent knowledge of business information systems
• Good practical experience with SAP business software applications
• Good knowledge of programming languages like Visual Basic٫ C++ and Java
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with good ability to explain technical details
• A degree in Computer Science or other relevant area
