Hospitality Manager Job Description

About the Hospitality Manager Position

We’re looking to hire an experienced and organized worker to join our team as a Hospitality Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading our hospitality staff to excel in their individual roles by coordinating daily operations.

As a Hospitality Manager, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need excellent organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet. 

Hospitality Manager Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of hospitality staff
• Supervise staff to ensure customer service standards are met
• Hire and train new staff as needed
• Perform hospitality employee evaluations as needed
• Ensure issues with guests are handled in an efficient manner
• Monitor inventory and quality of guest amenities, ordering supplies as needed
• Manage monthly budgets for the department and present budget reports to senior management
• Work closely with other teams, such as marketing, to meet future hospitality goals
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements

Hospitality Manager Requirements

• BA/BS in hospitality, business, or office administration preferred
• [3+] years experience working in hospitality
• Excellent knowledge of best hospitality and customer service practices
• Superb organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well under pressure while in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
